From Gros Brois, horses’ paradise (26.2.2012)
“I bet The Emperor Napoleon’s Marchall Berthier did not have a clue what will happen later to his hunting domain Gros Bois 30 km from Paris. At the Gros Bois trot training center horses, trainers and other workers have lived since 1962 a real horse lovers’ dream. 4 square km of castles, lakes, forest paths, racing lanes and place for up to 1500 horses. Raining or shining, ideal training here is possible. For Provinssi, a 10-year-old Finnhorse, the very first first competition trip to France could not have had better conditions.”
