Finnhorses for sale
I have collected a few links here for those who are looking for information on purchasing a horse from Finland. Transporting horses between EU countries should not be very complicated, outside EU you may have to be more aware of the customs and other regulations. See the links below and if there is something missing or you have a suggestion of a link or text that should be found here -just add it to the comment section or e-mail me. :)

Hevosen tuonti ja vienti (Hippos) information on Hippos’ site (in Finnish)
Lapin Curly Talli has put some instructions on their website as well.
Especially when buying a younger horse, make sure your horse has a EU-passport, which means it is registered and microchipped. Finland is a member of the European Union and follows its directives. Foals should have gone through their registration process by March 31st the next year from their birth (e.g. foal is born 1st of June 2012 – registration is complete by March 31st, 2013). After that the the registration costs more. See Hippos-varsan rekisteröinti
